Microsoft account introduction and create account

One sign in for all the Microsoft Services you use such as Edge, Outlook email, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 license management, Windows backup on your PC (for apps and preferences) and more. Outlook email (People and Calendar) is free and powerful. There are over 400 million active Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail/Live email users in the world. Sign in at www.account.microsoft.com, access all the services and subscriptions you use and see your account information

Outlook mail is free, reliable and uses Microsoft Exchange to sync Contacts and Calendar apps (the best way of doing this) and works with Outlook 365 (and we all need a second email address to verify it is us). PC owners use it to sign in to their computer and back up their settings and Edge users can make the most of Edge including Microsoft wallet to securely store passwords and payment info to autofill when we need that

First decide on the type of email address you would like for Outlook (your full name or short initials) and write it down (add ‘.’ or numbers to make it unique). Decide on a long password that you can remember then go to www.account.microsoft.com, click on ‘Create one!’ and follow the steps. Complete the Microsoft account page in the Tomtie Toolkit
