Apple ID tasks – update Apple ID page in Tomtie Toolkit

Name and ‘CONTACTABLE AT’ email addresses and mobile numbers plus date of birth and subscription settings

From your device go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Password and Security. When you sign in on a new device or web browser, a verification code will be sent to your Apple devices or one of your TRUSTED PHONE NUMBERS. Tap ‘Add’ to add a trusted person’s phone number as well as your own so that they can verify you if you don’t have access to your phone or other Apple device.

From your device go to Settings ❯ Apple ID and all your named Apple devices are listed. To clear unwanted devices, tap on the name then tap ‘Remove from Account’

If the password has been given out by mistake, click on the ‘forgotten password’ link in the sign-in area and add a new password. Update the Tomtie Toolkit

Safari and iPhone/iPad Apps save your passwords into ‘Keychain’ with autofill. Access your passwords through Safari (desktop application) ❯ Safari Settings/Preferences ❯ Passwords or on your iPhone/iPad in Settings ❯ Passwords

Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+ (for 200G of storage) can be seen in Apple ID ❯ Subscriptions where you can turn ON Renewal Receipts

From a main computer go to www.icloud.com, sign in and click on profile icon in top right then ‘Manage Apple ID’. Click on Privacy to view and manage the information you choose to share with, and receive from Apple

From your device go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Password and Security ❯ Legacy Contact. Legacy contacts will be able to access the data stored in your account after your death. The data in your account may include photos, messages, notes, files, contacts, calendar events, apps you have purchased, device backups and more

See iPhone or iPad device details, go to www.icloud.com then Apple ID ❯ ‘Devices’ – this includes the IMEI number

From an iPhone or iPad use the ‘Find my’ app (turn on in Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Find My iPad) or go to www.icloud.com/find
