Sync files to iCloud steps: Open System Settings/Preferences and click your name at the top then iCloud Drive. Click Options to select. After you select Desktop and Documents Folders, your Desktop and Documents folders are backed up to iCloud Drive servers. They also appear in the iCloud section of the Finder sidebar
