See downloaded files in Files by Google: Open the Files by Google app and tap on ‘Downloads’ (in Categories section). Tap to open a file (go here when you have downloaded tickets with a QR code). Tap on the options dots next to the file for a list of actions that can be done with the file

Delete unwanted files with Files by Google: Open the Files by Google app and either use the ‘Clean’ option by tapping on the three lines top left and go through areas, or tap on the category of files you want to work in, tap the More options dots top right to change the sort by if wanted. Touch and hold on a file to reveal the Edit screen with the file selected. Tap on the more options dots to see ‘Move to bin’ and tap on that (several files can be selected at once)
Clear space by removing photos taken on my Android phone that are backed up to Google Drive: Open Google Photos, tap on the account profile icon top right, tap on ‘Free up space’ then tap the ‘Free up XX.XX’ button. (All recently taken photos can still be seen in Google Photos as before, but these are thumbnails. If the phone is not connected to WiFi or mobile internet/mobile data, a photo can’t be edited as it needs to be downloaded first)
Empty the Bin in Files by Google: Files in the Bin are permanently deleted after 30 days. To do this yourself open the Files by Google app, tap on the three lines at the top to show navigation menu then tap on ‘Bin’. Tap on ‘Got it’ to select all then tap Delete. Another window will open giving the number of files to be deleted – tap Delete
