Remove or uninstall an app on Samsung: Touch and hold on an app icon on the Home Screen to reveal the quick actions menu with ‘Select’, ‘Remove’ or ‘Uninstall’ (and sometimes some useful app features). Then tap ‘Remove’ to remove the app from the Home Screen or tap ‘Uninstall’ to delete the app from your device
Put apps in a folder on Home Screen: Touch and hold on an app icon on the Home Screen to reveal the quick actions menu with ‘Select’, ‘Remove’ or ‘Uninstall’. Tap ‘Select’ to see a tool bar appear, then tap on at least one other app to select it and tap on the ‘Create folder’ option. Type a name for the folder then tap on the Home button
Move an app on a Home Screen: To move an app icon to a different Home Screen, location on the same Home Screen or a folder: touch and hold it, then drag it where you want and drop it – lift your finger
Add an app to the Favorites tray on a Samsung: Touch and hold then drag and drop your most-used apps to the Favorites tray at the bottom of the Home Screen. To remove an app from the Favorites tray touch and hold then drag it out to the Home Screen above
Add an app to a Home Screen on a Samsung: Swipe up to see the App screen. Tap in the Search box and type the name of the app (if you can’t easily find it), then when it comes up, touch and hold on the app to see the quick actions menu and tap on ‘Locate app’. Touch and hold on the app to show another quick actions menu with ‘Select’, ‘Add to Home’ and ‘Uninstall’ – tap on ‘Add to Home’
Add a widget to the Home Screen: Touch and hold on an empty space on a Home Screen to reveal edit mode and tap on ‘Widgets’ in the bottom tab bar. Scroll through the listed apps to find one you want then tap to see the options and either touch and hold then drag the widget to a Home page or tap ‘Add’
