Force close the app: in ‘recent apps’ tap on the icon or swipe up to open recent apps then swipe away the relevant app (or tap ‘Close all’ to close all recent apps)

Sign out and then sign back in to the app: Tap on options then account profile icon to see ‘Log out’ or ‘Sign out’. First, check the email and password are saved to the phone incase they are needed, (sometimes a one time passcode or link is sent to the email instead of a password). Go to Settings ❯ General Management ❯ Passwords and autofill ❯ Google/Edge and search for the account
Clear the cache: Settings ❯ Apps, search for the app and tap on it, scroll down then tap ‘Storage’ ❯ ‘Clear cache’ – this will clear the information that speeds up the app start time and log you out of the account
Uninstall then reinstall the app: Touch and hold the app icon on the Home screen, then tap ‘Uninstall’. Search for the app in Google Play Store and tap ‘Install’ (this takes a couple of minutes to do). Home Screen preferences: Move the newly installed app icon. Touch and hold on it then drag it to where it is wanted
