Edit photos in Gallery – Pictures: Tap to open a photo then tap the pencil icon on the bottom tool bar to reveal editing option icons. Tap on one to select (it will become yellow). Try the first magic wand ‘Auto adjust’ icon. When finished tap ‘Save’ or ‘Revert’ at the top
Delete photos and video files in Gallery – Pictures: Either tap to open a single photo file and tap ‘Delete’, or touch and hold to reveal the select circle (top left of the photo) then tap anywhere on each small photo to select the ones you want, then tap Delete. Tip – tap on the select circle next to the date to select all for that date
View videos in Gallery: Tap the search icon at the top, swipe down to ‘Shot types’ and tap ‘Video’ to see all video files. Tap on one to play
Edit videos in Gallery: Open a video then tap the pencil icon on the bottom tool bar to reveal editing option icons. Tap on one to select (it will become yellow). Tap on one to select (it will become yellow). Try the scissor icon and touch and hold then slide the white start and stop lines in the video timeline to adjust the length of the video. When finished tap ‘Save’ or ‘Revert’ at the top
Share individual photo and video files in Gallery: Tap on a photo or video file to open it then tap the share symbol and choose how you want to share it
Sharing in Gallery: Tap the three Menu lines bottom right then ‘Shared albums’. Tap ‘Get started’, create a shared album and follow the steps
Search in Gallery: Tap the search icon at the top and tap in any word – try ‘beach’ and see location sugggestions, tap the search icon on the keyboard to see photos taken of beaches. Swipe down to see any relevant ‘Stories’
