Library: Tap ‘Library’ in tab bar and in ‘Photos on device’ tap on an individual storage area e.g. WhatsApp Images and decide if you want to ‘Backup’ to Google Photos. If you do turn Backup ON. See ‘Albums’ and tap on one to open. Photos that are removed from an album are not deleted from Google Photos
