Have new SIM or move existing SIM: If the old SIM fits the new device it just needs to be moved to it. If not, a new SIM must be activated on the new device via the mobile network provider’s website. Access the mobile network provider’s website to see instructions. e.g. search ‘how do I set up a new SIM in Vodafone’ to learn about activating a new or upgraded SIM. (The old device can be used until it does not make calls, at that point the new SIM will have been activated and this takes up to 24 hours)
