When first using the Snap Map feature, users are required to choose who can see their location on the map. The options include: My friends, Only me (‘Ghost Mode’), or Selected friends

Snapchat Chat: exchange pictures and videos, called snaps, that are meant to disappear after they’re viewed. Take a picture or video, add filters, lenses, or other effects, and share it with friends

Snapchat Explore: see Snaps from the local community or see what’s happening with your friends

Snapchat Stories: a collection of Snaps captured within the past 24 hours. By default, your Story is visible to all of your friends, and they can view the Snaps in your story as many times as they like

Snapchat Spotlight: Snap Spotlight shows short-form video content, or “Spotlight Snaps.” The Snaps in the Spotlight section can be up to 60 seconds long
