Clean and dust the Mac

Clean, dust and organise area: Power off the Mac. Unplug cables then wipe over the keyboard, screen and monitor. Avoid overheating by removing dust, dirt, and other particles that get into a computer. Clean the work area, vacuum floor and computer air vents. This will improve air flow so it is less likely to over-heat and will last longer. Tidy cables with cable tidies and check plug labels before replacing them

Remove static electricity: For iMacs or Mac minis – drain power by pressing and holding ‘on/off’ button for ten seconds
