Mouse

Magic mouse introduction: This mouse has no buttons or scroll wheel as the touch surface responds to a tap or swipe. Moving your finger across the surface allows you to scroll up and down and from side to side and it is designed to mimic the trackpad

Mouse input single click: Left click to select or action a command button. Left click and hold down then drag and drop (lift finger off the button to drop). Right click to open a context menu that includes the option to ‘Open’ a file

Mouse input double click: Double-click left button to open a file or app in Finder. Try a single left click on a file to select, then right click to open a context menu that includes the option to ‘Open’ a file (double click fails if there is any movement of the mouse)

Mouse input scroll wheel to move up and down: Use the scroll wheel to move up and down a web page or through options. Click on the scroll wheel to see the scroll icon and move the mouse up and down to scroll up and down a webpage, click again to see the pointer

Mouse tip: lift the mouse completely off the mouse mat then put back down further in, to extend the reach. Twisting to the left or right does not affect the position of the cursor and can damage your wrist
