Apple ID introduction and new account

One account for all your Apple devices (such as your iPhone, iPad, MacBook or iMac) and Apple services. Apple services include iCloud (which stores device backups, photos, documents and passwords), App Store (for the apps on your iPhone/iPad), iMessage and more. To see your Apple ID information go to Settings ❯ Apple ID on a device, or from a browser go to www.icloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID, then profile icon ❯ ‘Manage Apple ID’

A new Apple ID is needed when your first apple device is set up (often an iPhone). Each new Apple ID needs a unique email address and a password. It is important to complete the Apple ID pages in the Tomtie Toolkit

On a device, go to Settings ❯ Apple ID (at the top) and go through the list of ‘Apple ID tasks’, updating the Apple ID pages in the Tomtie Toolkit as you go
