Apple ID basic tasks

Go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Personal Information and check your name, date of birth and Communication Preferences

Go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Payment & Shipping and check the credit/debit card on the account and manage payment methods for media purchases and subscriptions

Go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ and check paid for subscriptions to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and more and cancel them here. Turn on ‘Renewal Receipts’ to be sent a receipt when a subscripton renews

Go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ iCloud to see what is stored in iCloud (Photos, Backups, Mail and Others). Check ‘APPS USING ICLOUD’ – Photos, iCloud Drive, iCloud Mail, Passwords and Keychain and more (in ‘Show All’). See DEVICE BACKUPS and turn ON ‘Back Up This iPhone/iPad’

Go to Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Media & Purchases then sign in to your Apple ID with your password, to see ‘Account Settings’ and Manage Payments, Subscriptions, Purchase History, Add Money to Account and set the Country/Region

Turn ‘Find My iPhone/iPad ON in Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ Find My iPhone/iPad. To find a lost device from an iPhone or iPad use the ‘Find my’ app, or from a browser, go to www.icloud.com/find and sign in

Share your subscriptions and music, movie and other media purchases with up to five people. Set up in, Settings ❯ Apple ID ❯ ‘Family Sharing’

Go to Settings ❯ Apple ID and swipe down to see a list of your signed in apple devices. Select one to see the model, iOS/iPadOS version, phone number, Serial Number and IMEI. Remove old apple devices that can not update to the latest iOS/iPadOS version – tap on the device name then tap ‘Remove from Account’
